Added

  • Choose image optimization and quality in Settings. Uploads keep issued choices and report published format, size and dimensions. Original preservation retains exact bytes; Free clients can request resizing and recover from width errors. Action: For exact original preservation, submit the original file bytes. After a width rejection, create a new upload with imageProcessing.resizeToAccountLimit=true and a new idempotency key.
  • Organize Library and Unattributed media with approved permissions. Empty pages share pixel icons and guidance; account connections stay hidden elsewhere. Guest profiles stack. Settings has compact controls, a width preview and one save.
  • Review agent identity, boxed code and permissions before login; switch accounts and approve. Searches and media edits retain consent and bulk limits; existing grants keep rights, and erasure removes private search text. Action: Connected agents should omit Agent and Site filters, facets and term requests; use an owner browser for those views.
  • Manage editable account Categories in Library or Settings within plan limits. Estimate AI suggestion costs before confirming, follow batch progress and review every result page. API and agent guidance explain retries and shared text. Action: Reload Categories and filters; previous shared IDs are unsupported. Before creating or retrying AI jobs, obtain a quote and send quoteId and confirmedMaxMicrounits. Follow nextCursor through suggestions. definitionVersion is no longer returned.
  • Eligible verified Free accounts: no routine expiry and public CDN within limits. Adoption shows what fits or keeps expiry. Cache clearing and saved resized images stay PRO. Terms and Privacy explain inactivity and data use. Action: Clients using /v1/assets/{id}/claim-free or /v1/assets/{id}/claim-pending must use /v1/assets/{id}/claim. Claiming still requires a verified human browser session and confirmation; claim-link and claim-preview remain separate. If token polling returns 409 adoption_changed, stop polling that device. Start a fresh device approval with the same guest session, obtain new human approval, then poll the new device.

Improved

  • Site and dashboard pages load faster, with smaller images and glowing upload icons. The homepage refines spacing, share examples and resources; header links match. Host on FooPixel shows the public link when processed output is ready.
  • Images arrive sooner with accurate allowances. Browsers can reuse images for 10 minutes; passcode gallery media stays private. Eligible public-gallery originals can use CDN delivery while current access is enforced.
  • When PRO ends, eligible libraries within 1 GiB can continue without routine expiry on Free. Delete down during the 30-day public grace to qualify; remaining PRO media keeps its recovery and deletion deadlines.
  • FooGallery connects at app.foopixel.com after reviewing site, access and expiry; approval returns to WordPress. Try it first can keep eligible public trial images, with media features added and account administration restricted. Action: FooGallery integrations must send apiVersion 2026-10-04 and requestedGrant foogallery-site instead of requestedScopes. Read grant and effectiveScopes; ignore unknown names. For Try it first handover, send the live guest proof as x-foopixel-session only on the server-to-server request.

Fixed

  • Still-image uploads reject oversized inputs before transfer and report the admitted size limit. Image processing and Settings offer clearer retryable failures. Uploader errors have space around the panel. Action: API clients must keep still-image inputs within 20,000,000 bytes and any smaller account limit. Use the returned policy.maxUploadBytes for the admitted transfer; motion uploads retain their account limit.
  • Asset detail hides unavailable media. Upload retries count toward rate limits; older requests without a verified creating connection cannot be replayed by agents. Animated WebP and PNG files cannot be kept as originals. Action: API clients: read rejected upload errors from statusUrl, not GET /v1/assets/{id}. Back off on 429. Older uploads/batches without a verified creating connection return 409 idempotency_conflict on bearer replay; batch item admission returns 404 not_found. Recover status before starting new work. Upload animations as GIF or MP4; kept animated WebP/PNG originals fail with image_animation_unsupported.

Security

  • Galleries clear the previous account's private names and links when you sign out or switch accounts, including while requests are still loading.
