1. Agreement and service
By using FooPixel, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Notice. FooPixel is currently a service. The service may change, pause, or be withdrawn while it is being built.
FooPixel is a FooPlugins service. Questions can be sent to hello@foopixel.com.
2. What FooPixel does
The public uploader accepts anonymous JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and HEIF source images up to 5 MiB. A browser and the API may normalize an image to a maximum width of 2000 pixels and optimize it as WebP.
Uploads may be moderated before a public URL is made available. Anonymous uploads are scheduled to expire after 24 hours, although deletion may take a short time to complete.
After a pass, the service returns a public URL built from an unguessable asset identifier. It is a sharing address, not a promise that anyone who obtains the address will be blocked.
Some account and delivery features may require action by the account owner and may not yet be available.
3. Eligibility and your responsibility
You must be legally able to accept these Terms and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload each image. You are responsible for the content you submit, the destinations where you use a public URL, and complying with laws that apply to you.
Do not upload content prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use FooPixel to test attacks, evade moderation, distribute malware, or interfere with another person's service or privacy.
4. Content and rights
You retain rights you already hold in your content. You grant FooPlugins the limited permissions needed to receive, normalize, moderate, store, secure, deliver, and delete the content as part of the service. This permission ends when the relevant bytes and operational copies are deleted, except where a short retention period is needed for security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
We may refuse, restrict, remove, or report content that appears to violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or a lawful request. We may preserve limited evidence needed to investigate abuse or protect the service.
5. Availability and changes
FooPixel is provided as a developing service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular processing time, permanent URLs, successful moderation outcomes, or that the service will meet a particular business or regulatory requirement. Keep your own copies of important content.
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above will identify the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
