v0.5.0
Library filters and media improvements
Released 2026-10-17 UTC
Added
- The Library has a Filters panel and smart search box that stay in sync: filter by view, category, client, project, agent or site, and save combinations as views. Links combining clients and projects now show media in any of them.
- Filter media by visibility, expiry and combined clients or projects with POST /v1/media-query; facetUnassigned counts items with no assignment. GET /v1/assets?include=memberships returns each item's organization. Action: If you read client or project facet counts from POST /v1/media-query, they now ignore the whole client and project selection, so counts no longer narrow when a client or project is chosen. Use clientProjectIds to match any of several.
- Save named Library filter combinations on your account with GET and POST /v1/library-views and PATCH and DELETE /v1/library-views/{id}, up to 50 views, for signed-in owner browsers.
- When available, PRO accounts can connect one verified custom domain to share public media and galleries, with a 14-day grace period after PRO ends. FooPixel ID links keep working. Action: API clients: prefer shareUrl when present. With an active custom domain it uses the account's own hostname (https://{hostname}/a/{code} or /g/{code}), while foopixelShareUrl keeps the FooPixel branded address or null, so the two can differ. Keep publicUrl or gallery url as the backup.
- Grouped emails for ready native-agent uploads are on by default for all accounts. Owners can turn them off in Settings; emails include safe previews and sign-in links to private media.
- Public galleries can opt into search indexing, with descriptions, crawlable images and sitemap entries; private galleries stay excluded. Images keep their proportions and can show previews; full-size views and downloads remain available.
- Choose PNG or JPG output for image variants and video posters with the format parameter; WebP remains the default.
- Manage Categories, Clients & projects and Sites in one place in Settings › Organize, with media counts, inline editing and a Show archived option.
- Rename, archive and restore Sites you added with PATCH /v1/media-terms/{id}. Site terms now include their fixed domain; connected Sites are managed through Connections.
Improved
- Library rows are compact, with a grid view, a Display menu and one Organize picker; drag one item or a stack onto the Filters panel to organize them. Private items show a lock, and the actions menu changes visibility.
- Pricing, account pages and guides consistently describe included public-media CDN delivery and no expiry for active Free and PRO accounts, alongside temporary-upload, inactivity and downgrade rules.
- The Library starts with clear next steps, reveals filters and organizing tools as your media grows, and keeps its header aligned with the workspace.
- Profile and Settings are easier to scan: a two-column layout, inline field checks, a live preview of your branded link and one summary row once your name is claimed. Empty or unavailable items no longer take a full block.
- The media details tab and related messages now say Organize.
- Branded links and custom domains moved from Profile to a new Sharing tab in Settings.
Fixed
- Media details save reliably, and failed saves retain your edits for retry. Pending uploads appear privately in the owner Library, including Agent and Private views, while scans finish.
- Arrows and rectangles now draw in the correct position after flipping or rotating an image.
- Signing in with a different account now completes even when the browser was previously linked to another account. Existing media stays with its original owner.
- The media library no longer jumps while it loads.
Removed
- Suggest categories no longer appears for selected Library media while category suggestions are unavailable. You can still assign Categories yourself with Organize.
