How to use video to mp4 converter

A container is not the same as a codec
MOV, WebM and MP4 describe file containers. The video and audio inside them use codecs, which determine whether an application can decode the file. Converting creates a new MP4; changing the filename extension does not convert its contents.
When to use a desktop converter
Browser processing is convenient for short files and keeps the source on your device. Long recordings, unusual codecs and very large source files can exceed browser memory or take a long time. Keep the tab open while conversion runs, and use a desktop workflow if your browser cannot complete the file.

Can I convert an MP4 to another format?
